This week's list really has talent including: Animal Collective, Bon Iver and Black Ghost. And those are just a few of the the ABCs in store this Tuesday. We didn't get to all of the bands, so if a group wasn't mentioned, hit up our links below and comment like crazy.
Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion should be on your must-get list for this week. Sure, the album contains some rather quirky tracks and it might seem to be a bit repetitive at points, but the production and creativity merits a listen.
Jagjaguwar's man of gold,Bon Iver, continues to draw large numbers of new fans with every piece of work, so even though he is just releasing an EP- check it out.
On a lighter less rock note, Andrew Bird, Ben Nichols and Matt & Kim all have new albums. Nichols is currently releasing his album Last Pale Light while taking some time from Lucero's southern rock arms. Andrew Birds' Noble Beast doesn't jump out at first listen as it doesn't claim catchy refrains, but rest assured this could be the biggest solo hit of the year so far.
