Nothing about Paper Route's music is a turnoff. For the group from Nashville, a tour schedule becomes a canvas to draw more fans in and their consistency in releasing new albums becomes a reason to keep those fan checking back.
After much touring and eventual fine-tuning in the recording studio, the foursome has finally announced their newest work, Absence, which is set to release on April 28th. From hearing their new song "Carousel" from their MySpace page, the groups appears to be following the ambient synth-rock theme that Are We All Forgotten started. This style emits an expansive melody while subtly putting lyrics on the back burner, which has helped the band remain creative from EP to EP.
Previously, we became hooked to their Are We All Forgotten EP which released last summer. The five tracks threw Paper Route right on the map and on tour next month with Copeland, This Providence and Brooke Waggoner. Copeland just released their Grey Man EP last month and will be featured on all of the tour dates except April 17. Tickets for the tour go on sale on March 14, here.

Seems like only yesterday I rode my bike up and down Hill Road during the wee hours of the morning. That was the paper route as I knew it. The Paper Route of today doesn't involve bikes or apartment complexes loaded with geezers and kick-me dogs. This time around you can wake up to an ambient-induced rock fresh with the electric flavor the four fellows from Nashville call the Paper Route.
Paper Ruote, made up of Chad Howat, JT Daly, Andy Smith and Gavin McDonald, released their Are We All Forgotten EP on July 8 and have been touring their poppy chords since with the likes of Phantom Planet, Jack's Mannequin and Paramore on The Final Riot Tour (see dates below).
With all of the band sites I travel across in a year's time, I would say Paper Route's site easily is a top-5 site due mainly to the streaming music and the video clip background. Despite not having a forum or fancy features, the site remains enjoyable. Kudos to their creator.
