The Cops are yet another great band from Seattle, WA. If you're into straight forward rock and roll and songs with embedded truthful woes, then these are your guys. With solid guitar riffs and the smoky-cressed vocals of Michael Jaworski, The Cops are reinforcing that the classic rock of old is still kicking. Coming off of their second full length album, Free Electricity, released in November of last year, The Cops' success has grown since their beginning and bolstered a long-running tour over the past 3+ years.
Don't think The Cops will stand for anyone's crap either. Their first album Get Good or Stay Bad (Mt. Fuji Records) sets the stage for their career, chock full of anthems such as "Controller" where Jaworski lays it down punk rock style singing "You can not control me!" The Cops draw mild likenesses from Social Distortion to Spoon.
