I was probably one of few who thought "Videotape" was the worst song on In Rainbows. And by worst, I mean not as good as the rest of the beautiful songs on my top three album finisher from 2007. With possibly the most heartfelt lyrics out of any song on the album, "Videotape" still did not grab my attention.
By nature, I am a remix-addict, and it was no surprise when I heard the "Videotape Remix" (sometimes seen as "Video Tapez" on the interwebs) featuring one my favorite long-lost rappers from years ago, I couldn't keep my ears away from it. You guessed it, its the man who hias been making the news with his recent release of his first single, "Bubble Pop", the one and only man with too much to rap about, Del the Funky Homosapien.

Del's album Eleventh Hour will be hitting stores on March 11th, but you can always preview a few of his tracks on his MySpace page. If you're somehow new to Del, I highly recommend going back to his album Deltron 3030 which features some great tracks such as "Mastermind" and "Memory Loss". You may also know Del from rapping with the Gorillaz in their song "Clint Eastwood" or from the rap group Hieroglyphics (also highly recommended). If you just feel like getting right into his Greatest Hits, you can go on over to iTunes and see what you like for yourself. Del is officially back!
