They're officially back and on stage coming to a northwestern United State near you. It would only be right if Death Cab For Cutie, the band that made the 405 actually have meaning to you, perform in their most revered portion of the US. Their first six tour dates for 2008 include Oregon, Washington, California and Nevada (yes, Nevada). Presale tickets for members of their fan club will go on sale, tomorrow 2/21/08, so make sure you're on the ball.

Death Cab will be performing music from their latest recorded album Narrow Stairs, which was announced on January 19th. A release date for the album is May 13th.

Death Cab will herald the album's release with their first live shows in more than eighteen months. They'll kick things off April 18th in their home state of WA at the Admiral Theatre in Bremerton, followed by a series of festival appearances, including Coachella 2008 in Indio, California on Saturday, April 26th and the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 15th in Manchester, TN.
