Just a few weeks after our interview with Pennsylvania native Priscilla Ahn, we were fortunate enough to catch her live at the Tin Angel in downtown Philadelphia. In the long and wide hallway that is the Tin Angel, Ahn captured the room from every sweet serenading song to everywhere in between. Not only did her voice stretch to a heavenly altitude, her warm personality presented itself through every song's story.
On top of this already enchanting aura, Ahn entertained with a variety uncommon among many solo acts. Along with the essential acoustic guitar, she dabbled sporadically with the harmonica, kazoo, vocal play-overs and finally with the ukulele.
After listening to her new album countless times since I received it a few months ago, A Good Day and Ahn's talents shined without question in front of the crowded Tin Angel. Her strong singing touched everyone in attendance no matter how close or far from the stage they set themselves.
Priscilla Ahn is currently in the midst of a tour across the U.S. with the wind of her album's hum still gaining speed. For your enjoyment, we have a video from the show of "Opportunity To Cry", which is a Willie Nelson cover on the album.
