Rush from Black Gold entered the speakers of MUF and haven't quite settled down. The vanguard of 2009's must-buy albums presses with an influx of breakdowns and technically sound instrumentals from its opening to closing tracks courtesy of Eric Ronick and Than Luu.
The duo formed in 2006 and soon began working on their first full-length work, Rush, which releases February 3. Ronnick (from Panic at the Disco) and Than ( M. Ward, Rachel Yamagata, shushshush) blended their ideas into a rich 12-track rock gold mine.
Black Gold's tour begins February 5 at Red Bulls Skyscrapers snowboarding event in New York City. They will be accompanied by Anthrax and Valiant Thorr at the event.
