Maybe this is a bit late, but The New Frontiers (formerly Stellamaris) are a band you must know. Without throwing in techno beats or unnecessary horns at you, the boys from Dallas collaborated with producer Matt Goldman (Copeland, Cartel, A Small Victory) to create what could be one of the best indie albums of the year with Mending.

Led by the distinct vocals of Nathan Pettijohn (lead vocals, guitar) and then balanced keenly from all sides by Guy Turner (keyboard, vocals), Ryan Henry (bass, vocals), Jacob Chaney (guitar, vocals) and Alex Bhore (drums), The New Frontiers' sound reflects the sentiment of Keane and the Shore. You can only say so much, so take a listen...
